Commissioned by Department of Architecture, City Hall, Cork to create a site-specific work on a large 1970s style housing estate overlooking the city which was undergoing extensive renovation. The most immediate and significant feature of the site was the weather, as it rained more or less continuously. The finished work consisted of enlarging and repeating a simple 1970s wallpaper pattern (found in more than one of the apartments before renovation) across the entire surface of the five large brick-built housing units in transparent, wet-look industrial varnish. This had the effect of making the work almost entirely invisible when the surface of the brick was wet which was more or less all of the time.
